Over the past few months, we’ve been hard at work redesigning Veni Codi Vici, taking your feedback into account and dedicating our weekends to making it the best it can be. Thanks to your input, we’ve completely revamped the app to create a smoother, more intuitive user experience. While we’ve retired Arena Mode (based on user preferences), we’ve enhanced Arcade Mode and made learning more engaging and immersive. The new interface is sleek, visually captivating, and designed to make learning more enjoyable. In addition, we’ve introduced 13 unique chapter backgrounds, each inspired by a different country, including the home countries of our top 10 players (including @schambig, @DemoNkmt1 and @milugo_g) and contributors. Can you guess which countries we’ve chosen and match each to its background? Today, we’re thrilled to announce that Apple has approved our redesigned iPhone app! Today marks my 2-year anniversary at @alx_africa! Two years ago, I joined the company with @guillaumesalva, @gautie_a, and @karoub after @holbertonschool, my company, was acquired. Since then, we have achieved so much together: - We’ve enrolled over 500,000 learners in our Software Engineering program (a 12-month, full-time course). - We’ve launched exciting new programs: Introduction to Software Engineering (3 months, part-time), Front-End Web Development (4 months, part-time), Back-End Development (4 months, part-time), and Applied Artificial Intelligence (a continuous program with one project every week). - We also started Faces of ALX SE, where we share interviews with our learners and graduates. And there’s more to come—3 new initiatives are in the works! Together with all the other ALX programs, we’ve now welcomed over 1,000,000 learners on our platform. I’ve witnessed so many students transform their lives, with many landing jobs even before completing our Software Engineering program. This is incredibly rewarding and a true honor. None of this would be possible without our amazing team, who never give up and are dedicated to changing lives every day. 2 years ago, while running @holbertonschool, I gave an interview for @forbes, and shared my goal to open the doors to high quality tech education to students in Africa. At the time, we were looking at our 250,000 students goal.
