@Yigdrachon202 We can't canonize saints outside of the church because of major theological differences. That's not to say there are no non-Orthodox saints! I personally believe there are, but I won't find out unless I get to meet them one day I suppose ๐

Orthodoxy is so cool because there's a patron saint for everything. Even for cats!! ๐

@Yigdrachon202 I think she is a shared saint because she seems to have lived before the churches split. Her name is Saint Gertrude! There's actually a lot of saints that are depicted with animals in their icons
