I just got freed from my phone being locked up at @deoncole’s show (hilarious!) and saw my homegirl’s text updates to let me know the #Gamecocks are going to the ‘ship! I started shouting outside in public “WE WON! WE WON!” complete with a foot stomp! 😂😂😂 Spurs up, baby!

Nah, you left out that he didn’t have cable, and that he primarily saw MTV at his friends’ houses.
Having cable in the 90s was a low key privilege that not everyone had. I know several friends who didn’t, and they only saw BET, MTV, Disney, and Nickelodeon at other households

Dj Hed admitted to something I don't think he should've admitted... He said he preferred MTV over BET and he didn't grow up watching Rap City. That's fine for the average person but as a person of his age and to be so opinionated about rap, that makes him look a little flaky.

@DJRTistic When I was undergrad at Memphis, there was a common lime dance done to the song that I can’t recall the name of (it wasn’t this in the video), on top of most if not all the Greeks strolling to it.

We did it to Set It Off (not boosie) in my hometown & it we called it the Bus Stop. Didn’t know it was called the electric slide until we had a unit in music appreciation about dance songs lol
