@EricLDaugh Everyone needs to keep their beliefs to themselves. It’s no one’s business; it is extremely personal. It is everyone’s right to believe in whatever god they wish, or none at all. I simply respect others enough to not push my beliefs on them and expect the same.

You need to do what you were elected to do. You were NOT elected to spread lies to convince those you represent that the policies that are harming them are for their benefit. We can debate policy, and find common ground and solutions. That is impossible if you hide the policy behind nonsense. You took an oath to your constituents, they come before party, as does the good of the nation. I can’t believe your oath and your constituents mean nothing to you.

All the politicians aren’t as afraid as they are because of trump, it the power behind him they fear.

Many still don’t but there are those that are openly admitting they are done. Those are the ones that we can start closing that divide between. Once even a smaller commonality is found it will lead to others. What is the other option? Continue the internal war forever.. Seriously I can’t see a way to escape this path we are on if we can’t find a way to come together at least enough to agree the democracy must be protected, policy we can debate. Not saying that’s the only route but it’s the only one I can see. But I’m entirely open to better ways!! Hopefully when some realize this isn’t even about party, this is all orchestrated by the top 1% and we’re are all being used, they’ll snap out of it.

I agree with that completely. It was one of the most horrifying things I’ve ever seen, shocking because no where in my wildest imagination did I ever think it was possible! Those that engaged in it and fully support it, would never ever move from their positions. But there are those who were never comfortable with it and those people can be moved. At least I think they can, hope they can.

I fact check constantly it gets so annoying. But so necessary - that’s why I’m always grateful when I see someone did already! It amazes me how many people just blatantly lie.. what is really sad are the ones of who actually believe what they are saying! A lot of the influencers are obviously monetized, they don’t even believe what they are saying. Those banners are so offensive and they do look like Soviet Union Banners, ha an entirely new decorating style, Dictatorish! So suitable for him on multiple levels!! 😁

I'm fact-checking a lot these days -- I rarely trust social media as my first source unless news is just breaking. The MAGAs post fake stuff all the time, along with grotesque lies, because that's all they've got. Some of this AI generated stuff is monetized. Often, someone's profiting. Best to check anything that seems a bit too good to be true. I Would love to see those idiotic Soviet Union dictator-style banners torn down.

What I want is young peoples minds to be protected from the violence, racism, misogyny, violence, toxic anti social beliefs that they are subjected to online very quickly before they have the maturity to navigate it. I don’t believe that is a negative position, I strongly believe it is giving them the care they need to grow healthy independent minds before they are influenced. Influence should come from parents and family not content on the internet at their age. I respect your right to view it differently, I just don’t agree that protecting children from things they are not equipped to deal with and the damage were know it does is a wrong. I’m not sure we’ll find a lot of commonality on this subject, but I do appreciate you sharing your viewpoint!! We need to be able to have respectful discourse most of all when viewpoints differ.
