In Utah, educating illegals cost the state’s taxpayers $650+ million in 2023 — and lawmakers were forced to deploy emergency funding to keep up with the strain on the public school system. This school year, Utah’s K-12 public schools saw the largest decrease in enrollment in 25 years — which the state superintendent attributed, in large part, to “slowing in-migration.” 2/
