I want to support good journalists and good writers but there is simply no way to subscribe to every article or newspaper or magazine or newsletter, and it sucks for everyone because writers want readers for their stuff and readers want to read, but normal people can’t afford to.

Because if they do DNA tests there's going to be a whole bunch of men with families who'll have to explain why there's babies being born to teenagers in for-profit concentration camps, and why the government is trafficking the girls to anti-abortion states and islands.

ICE detained a dialysis patient the morning of her treatment. She died 36 hours later in a detention infirmary. They logged it as "natural causes." When policy kills, call it what it is.

It's an anti-masker tactic to claim that if you don't wear a mask 100% of the time, it isn't worth it. Untrue. Every single time you wear a mask, you reduce the chances for viruses to spread. Wearing a mask always improves public health, even if you only do it occasionally.

I mean Jeff Bezos didn’t buy the Washington Post to turn a profit. He did it to dismantle one of the country’s strongest journalistic institutions’ ability to report on the wealthy and powerful. Any future profitability was always at best a distant secondary concern.
