November 18, 2022 is Substitute Appreciation Day.   Thank you to all the wonderful substitutes who step in and support our schools every day! We couldn’t do it without you!

On this Veterans Day, we say thank you to the brave men and women for their service and dedication to our country.

It’s National School Psychologist Week and we want to celebrate our amazing staff! School psychologists are uniquely qualified members of our team who help support students academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. Thank you, for all that you do for KIBSD students!

Today at Kodiak High School Governor Mike Dunleavy signed SB 20. Senator Gary Stevens, a sponsor of the bill, was also in attendance. SB 20 is a step forward in helping Alaska school districts to move past the barriers that exist when hiring out of state teachers.
