@Nathan_stxr @divawears1 Its just like using Photoshop tools. There a tool there you can use to drag and draw square boxes over the requested shapes. At first when you drag the box over the shape you see no line drawn. You just have to move your mouse upward same direction, then you see the shape.

The Google search string that found me 23 unadvertised remote roles in 48 hours!
Cynthia Ozumba@CynthiaOzumba

The Google search string that found me 23 unadvertised remote roles in 48 hours! Stop fighting 1,000+ applicants on LinkedIn. Use the "Hidden Job" string instead. Last week, I ran a test. I ignored the "Apply" button on LinkedIn and went straight to the source. Using three specific Google search strings, I found 23 remote roles that were live on company websites but hadn't been advertised on job boards yet. Why does this matter? By the time a job hits LinkedIn, itโ€™s already a "Red Ocean." By finding it on the companyโ€™s /careers page first, youโ€™re often the 1st applicant, not the 501st. Here is exactly how to reverse-engineer the search to find unadvertised remote roles. 1. The "Greenhouse" or "Lever" Filter. Most high-growth startups use Greenhouse or Lever to host their jobs. These pages are public, but they aren't always indexed on the main "Jobs" tab of Google. Copy/Paste this into Google: site:boards.greenhouse.io "Operations Manager" "Remote" -intitle:"jobs" site:jobs.lever.co "Virtual Assistant" "Worldwide" -intitle:"jobs" Please copy correctly. The Logic here is: Youโ€™re telling Google to only show you pages hosted on those specific platforms that contain your job title and "Remote," while filtering out the generic "search jobs" landing pages. 2. The "Remote Policy" String. Many companies don't post to job boards because they have a standing "We are always hiring" or "Open Roles" page. Copy/Paste this into Google: "Work from anywhere" + "current openings" + "Operations" -LinkedIn -Indeed The Logic here is: By using the minus sign (-), you hide the big aggregators like LinkedIn and Indeed. This forces Google to show you the actual company "Career" pages. 3. The "Notion" Goldmine. Small, nimble startups often host their entire company handbook and job board on Notion. These are rarely "advertised" but are almost always high-paying. Copy/Paste this into Google: site:notion.site "Hiring" "Executive Assistant" "Remote" Why this works in 2026: Zero Competition: You are applying before the "masses" even know the role exists. Verified Remote: Many "Remote" tags on LinkedIn are actually "Hybrid." Searching the company's internal policy pages ensures they are truly remote-first. The "Direct" Advantage: When you find a role this way, you can find the founder or HR head on LinkedIn and say: "I saw the 'Operations Lead' role on your internal career site..." It shows youโ€™re a researcher, not just a button-pusher. The 48-Hour Challenge: Pick your job title and run the Greenhouse string right now. Don't look at the first page of Google; look at pages 2 and 3. Thatโ€™s where the unadvertised gold is hidden. How many of you have actually tried searching outside of LinkedIn this year? Let's talk about the results.
