You know who cracked the code for for number 3,4,5 and 6? Korean/Asian based MMORPG... they never struggled for revenue, they still have large communities, they "jump" but lo and behold it"s still same eco and last but not the least, no one can extract because in order to be competitive and get the items to cash out big, you need to put in big as well(rinse and repeat)

HOT TAKE: Web3 gaming isn’t dead, it was killed. - P2E/P2A campaigns framed as opportunities to earn but actually designed for gamers to extract value - Gamers became too focused on earning, which led to sybils and multi-accounting - Studios prioritized tokenomics and trailers over building games people actually want to play - Communities died as they were fed in-game assets, while projects and agencies extracted free user acquisition - Studios struggled to generate real revenue because everyone was trying to extract instead of spend - Gamers were conditioned to jump from one game to another once incentives dried up - Studios built for Web3 but failed to tap into web2 audiences to scale - Play-to-risk catered to degens, not for gamers who just want to have fun - KOLs built so-called communities but disappeared when the market turned red Now we are stuck in a small bubble, waiting for the next cycle with the same people. The real question is not who saves it, it is who builds something worth staying for

So grateful for the @WolvesDAO fam ❤️ GDC has been the perfect mix of productive meetings and kicking it back with the homies, and they topped it off with a surprise early bday cake GDC used to always happen during my bday week and being able to celebrate at Wolvesden has been magical, but they moved the conference earlier this year Was genuinely sad I wouldn't get to have a Den birthday this time but then these guys just went ahead with it anyway. RWA collectible products are going to hit the same brick wall web3 gaming did, and here is why: Web3 gaming founders were essentially tourists, raising off a sub meta These founders had never played a game in their lives, never understood the culture That is why most the games sucked, or simply weren't fun TCG/RWA has developed this same issue None of these founders are from the TCG space, they just saw price go up and hopped on the train Some of these sites do not even own the supply they're selling you, that's how afraid they are of having skin in the game Why would you ever invest in a founder that doesn't have skin in the game or understand the culture but expects the user to? Of course, people will write off my honest thoughts like they did in gaming too, and yet, I was right every time with my gaming predictions This isn't PVP. This is has been a passion of mine for 20 years And I predicted this issue a year ago, which is why I started building my own product
