Feels amazing to be back in the builder's seat Few know that one of the earliest experiences in my crypto journey was as a founding member of a startup, and it's something I've always known I'd want to come back to Back then, things weren't growing at the pace we'd hoped to see for a VC-backed company, and the team (minus me) voted to hard pivot into a different space. I felt there was still a lot worth experimenting with in web3 gaming, and have stuck around ever since We had a lot of ideas I was genuinely excited about, but unfortunately didn't get to see play out. Having unfinished quests in the backlog drives me crazy as a gamer, and apparently as a builder too In a lot of ways, what we're building at @Woof_Lab reminds me of some of the things I was most excited about at my first startup. The same spirit of wanting to solve problems for and build tools that truly support communities and games in this space But this time around, coming at it with a much more refined vision, a stronger network to start from, a cracked team that's perfect for the product and space, and the benefit of learning from years of living, breathing, and growing in this insane asylum we've all decided to throw ourselves into For me personally, it represents a second shot at something I never had the chance to see through, and that personal revenge arc gives me even more fire to crush it as hard as humanly possible this time around I plan to share more publicly about the journey this time, so I hope some of you enjoy following along on my quest to fulfill a previously unfinished mission that I never stopped believing in 🔥♥️🐺

Basic business principle to optimize for where the money actually is For a lot of products and services, the advice and trend is that many companies that start out trying to target consumer/retail end up moving up to enterprise when they feel it's possible, because usually clients/users with higher budgets also tend to be less demanding to service We see this reverse relationship all the time in crypto between budget size and demands/wants/complaints

There is NO ONE whose business model is going after shitcoining degens, except for shitcoin launchpads, like pumpfun etc. Get this through your thick heads. Large corporations DO NOT see you as a valuable demographic. I know that burns, but the truth will set you free.

The biggest misconception in RPG design might be that players stopped wanting turn-based combat. An HD-2D Final Fantasy feels like evidence that players never left. Studios just stopped investing in the genre at the same scale.

Growing up, some of my best memories were visits to my late grandmother’s house…. Around the time I turned 13 she got a PlayStation 2 because she knew my parents weren’t going to get one for us, and she listened to me babble about video games all the time and knew I wanted to play this game about Disney and Final Fantasy called Kingdom Hearts, but I wouldn’t be able to because we couldn’t get a PS2 I spent so many hours hanging out at her house exploring KH1&2. Deep core memories playing through some of best games ever made, simply because my gma cared enough to know what her grandkids were interested in. Will have to check out KH4 just for nostalgia reasons

Everyone's talking about the claws, but the real star of Marvel's Wolverine might be the healing factor. Most action games reward caution. Wolverine seems designed around recklessness, diving into danger and trusting your body to put itself back together.
