#SNDP: Strategic Nala Development Program Learning from past experiences, #TSGovt took swift action & introduced the SNDP. What started as a firefighting measure has now proven to be incredibly successful. This develops comprehensive storm water drainage system including restoration of surplus courses of the chain link tanks & diversion of runoff from low lying areas, besides remodelling of major drains passing through the core areas of the city (2/N)

While heavy rains do lead to flooding in all major cities, yesterday’s flooding in the IT corridor baffled many people. It was just 4 to 5 cm of rain. The ground was dry as this was the first rain of the season. Ideally, such rain should not cause heavy waterlogging and hours-long traffic jams. Yet, commuters in the IT corridor experienced severe difficulties due to waterlogging and traffic gridlock. The reasons are clear: ➡️The erstwhile BRS Government had started a good initiative called the Strategic Nala Development Program (SNDP), aimed at strengthening the retaining walls, deepening nalas and removing encroachments. Phase 1, completed during the BRS government, yielded good results and stopped flooding in those areas (see news clip attached). The Revanth government stopped Phase 2 of this program without any reason. ➡️The Municipal Administration Department directly under Revanth has failed in the pre-monsoon desilting of nalas, stormwater drains, and sewage drains, which should have been completed by early May. Due to this, all nalas, stormwater drains, and sewage drains are clogged with silt and waste, leading to flooding. ➡️The fact that even flyovers are getting flooded shows how negligent the state government is. The rainwater outlets on flyovers are not being cleaned by GHMC or HMDA. ➡️The much-touted HYDRAA, which does more PR than actual work, has failed miserably in maintaining city lakes, thereby reducing the water intake of these lakes. Many lakes are infested with water hyacinth, and HYDRAA wakes up only when the media or social media questions the poor state of our lakes. ➡️Adding to commuters woes, this hare-brained administration has dug up all junctions from Jubilee Hills to Gachibowli for constructing flyovers and underpasses just before the monsoon. These deep pits now pose a serious threat to commuters. ➡️Ever since Revanth became CM, he has literally abandoned Hyderabad city. Stung by the fact that the voters of Hyderabad did not vote for Congress, Revanth is deliberately neglecting the administration and development activities in the city. ➡️CM Revanth Reddy spends more time on his pet real-estate venture, the non-existent and imaginary Future City, but has no time for the thriving present City. Result - the city has gone to dogs, literally!

"మీ కోపంలో 100 శాతం న్యాయం ఉంది. ఈ పరీక్ష నిర్వహణలో ఇది ప్రభుత్వ అబ్సల్యూట్ ఫెయిల్యూర్. ఇందులో ఎలాంటి సందేహం లేదు. ఎన్టీఏ ఘోరంగా విఫలమైంది. తప్పు చేసిన పెద్దలను వదిలేసి, మిమ్మల్ని మళ్లీ పరీక్షకు కూర్చోబెట్టడం ముమ్మాటికీ అన్యాయమే. కానీ, ఇదొక తాత్కాలిక స్పీడ్ బ్రేకర్ లాంటిది. మీ కసిని, ఎనర్జీని సరైన దిశలో పెట్టి మళ్లీ ఫోకస్ చేయండి" అని విద్యార్థుల్లో ధైర్యం నింపారు. ❇️ గ్రేస్ మార్కుల వెనుక పెద్ద మాయాజాలం! గతంలో (2024) గ్రేస్ మార్కుల పేరిట జరిగిన అవకతవకలను, కటాఫ్‌లు అసాధారణంగా పెరిగిపోవడాన్ని ఒక విద్యార్థి ప్రస్తావించగా, కేటీఆర్ ఎన్టీఏ తీరును తీవ్రంగా తప్పుపట్టారు. "గ్రేస్ మార్కులు ఎందుకు కలిపారో చెప్పడానికి ఎన్టీఏ వద్ద ఇప్పటికీ ఎలాంటి తార్కిక సమాధానం లేదు. చాలా నిర్లక్ష్యంగా వ్యవహరించి లక్షలాది మంది విద్యార్థుల జీవితాలతో ఆడుకున్నారు. కొంతమందికి అడ్డదారిలో మార్కులు కలిపి, కష్టపడ్డ విద్యార్థులకు అన్యాయం చేయడం ఘోరమైన నేరం. ఈ లూప్‌హోల్స్ అన్నింటిపై పార్లమెంట్‌లో, స్టేట్ అసెంబ్లీలో గట్టిగా చర్చిస్తాం. చట్టపరంగా కఠిన శిక్షలు పడేలా చట్టసభ సభ్యులుగా మా బాధ్యత నెరవేరుస్తాం" అని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. ❇️ పాలకులకు భయం ఉండాలి "మంత్రి రాజీనామా చేస్తే సమస్య పరిష్కారమవుతుందా?" అని ఒక విద్యార్థి అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు కేటీఆర్ వ్యూహాత్మకంగా బదులిచ్చారు. "మంత్రి రాజీనామా ఒక హెచ్చరిక లాగా పనిచేస్తుంది. ప్రధాని గనుక మంత్రిని తొలగిస్తే.. తప్పు జరిగితే బాధ్యత వహించక తప్పదనే భయం అధికారుల్లో, బ్యూరోక్రాట్లలో వస్తుంది. లేకపోతే వ్యవస్థలో నిర్లక్ష్యం పెరుగుతుంది. స్కూల్లో బంక్ కొడితేనే పనిష్మెంట్ ఉన్నప్పుడు, వ్యవస్థను నాశనం చేసిన పెద్దలకు శిక్ష ఉండాలి. కొందరిని డిస్మిస్ చేసి కఠినంగా శిక్షిస్తేనే వ్యవస్థ దారిలోకి వస్తుంది" అని పేర్కొన్నారు. ❇️ దేశవ్యాప్తంగా రీ-నీట్ నిర్వహించాల్సిందేనా? పేపర్ లీక్ అయిన రాష్ట్రాల్లోనే పరీక్ష పెట్టాలా? లేక దేశవ్యాప్తంగా నిర్వహించాలా? అన్న ప్రశ్నకు కేటీఆర్ బదులిస్తూ.. "ఇవాల్టి కనెక్టెడ్ ప్రపంచంలో లీకైన పేపర్ మిగతా రాష్ట్రాలకు వెళ్లలేదని చెప్పలేం. ఒక కోచింగ్ సెంటర్‌లో పలు రాష్ట్రాల విద్యార్థులు ఉంటారు. ఎక్కడో ఒకచోట 1% లీక్ అయినా అది అందరికీ పాకుతుంది. కాబట్టి లీక్ పరిధిపై 100% స్పష్టత ఉంటే ఆయా రాష్ట్రాలకే పరిమితం చేయవచ్చు, లేదంటే దురదృష్టవశాత్తూ దేశవ్యాప్తంగా మళ్లీ నిర్వహించడం మినహా ప్రత్యామ్నాయం లేదు. అయితే, అసలు లీక్ కాకుండా ఉండేందుకు నేటి ఏఐ (AI) సాంకేతికతను వాడుకుని 'ఫూల్ ప్రూఫ్' సిస్టమ్స్ తేవడంపై కేంద్రం దృష్టి పెట్టాలి" అన్నారు.
