News: #Ethiopian_Airlines to expand domestic network to 27 destinations with four new airports
Ethiopian Airlines is set to expand its domestic network with the opening of four new airports currently under construction, a move expected to improve connectivity and support regional economic activity.
According to a report by Travel and Tour World, the new airports—located in #Negele_Borena #Gore_Mettu, #Mizan_Aman, and #Debre_Markos—are expected to become operational in the coming months.
The expansion will increase the airline’s domestic destinations from 23 to 27, strengthening access to regions that have historically had limited air transport services.
The report indicates that the initiative forms part of the airline’s broader effort to enhance domestic air travel accessibility, particularly in areas where ground transport infrastructure remains underdeveloped.

Zambia 🇿🇲 is projected to produce over 1 million tonnes of copper in 2026, surpassing its previous record.
The country's copper output is mainly driven by expansions at Canadian-owned mines Kansanshi and Lumwana.
Copper exports account for around 70% of Zambia’s export earnings and are crucial to its GDP.
