Mostly for small artists who are making independent records, not so much for anyone with a large following who gets a lot of streams.

the producer who took down the song “Pink Dreads” by Plaqueboymax & DDG on YouTube is now asking for $300,000 to have it reuploaded after he saw the song doing really well

@yoxics This is why you get the beat cleared before releasing though. You can't just release and make money off of someone's work without an agreement.

unpopular opinion but the whole "no drinking" vibe is correlated with a massive spike in social isolation. yes, binge drinking is bad, but going out for a glass of wine or a beer with friends on the regular actually has positive effects that outweigh the negative health optimization bros cutting alcohol consumption to zero, hitting the gym with headphones on, and going home to empty apartments are the loneliest people on this planet. happy friday
