Also, just because you received a lead script, don't try to act like the lead, no one will ask you anyway. Be realistic, choose the kind of role you know you can handle well. With that script, aim to deliver the best character you can. That's how you end up getting more opportunities. It's a shame I can't explain more, but that's it. MC, "Ofc from the moment you go in, you take the lead." "But for me, I actually came in as someone quite opposite to that character. I just tried to be as bright and polite as possible like, "Ah, hello, hello," when I walked in. So it wasn't about acting out a character, but more about showing my most polite self, someone who can adapt well on set and feel comfortable. I also showed a more relaxed, unfiltered side too. For example, even when Joo Hojin's role was given to me, I'd still approach it in a way like Cha Woosik would. "I keep seeing auroras" (acting like Woosik) like this. They were like "Why did you do it like that? That's not even the script, right?" and i was like, "You’re not going to cast me as the lead anyway, right?" then they're like "Exactly!" and i was like, "So I just brought something I can do well and enjoy doing. And if you ask me to do something else, I'll show you something different." MC, "You make people curious!" "Yeah, I think they were like, "What is this guy?" and they will asked, "What would you do if you didn't get it?" I said, "It's fine even if I don't get it. Just getting this far is already good enough." Then they were like, "So you’re not going to do our project?" I was like, "Why?" And they said, "You don't seem that sincere." I guess I kind of made them really curious. I think because I came across as friendly and was able to show my acting well, I'd get calls after I left or even get called back again."
