💢 Israeli Strike on Coffee Shop in Southern Lebanon Injures Six An Israeli strike on Qaaqiyet al-Jisr, a village near Nabatieh in southern Lebanon roughly 20 km (12 miles) north of the Israeli border, injured six people Monday evening, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry. According to Press TV journalist Hadi Hoteit, the strike hit a coffee shop and makes a retaliatory strike by Hezbollah quite likely. L’Orient Today’s correspondent in the south reported that young men were near a vehicle at the scene when the strike occurred; the vehicle was also damaged, and the wounded were evacuated by al-Risala Scouts ambulances. The attack comes during a 10-day Israel-Lebanon ceasefire, which restricts Israeli strikes to cases of self-defense.
