@cybrgrnd It was how the mainstream categorized a very broad set of alternative subcultures during the late 90's- early 00's. It makes sense that people only worship the bands that made it big on the mainstream. It's similar to how some people still think of 80's glam when talking Metal

@cybrgrnd I think the issue is that most of these people are not really nu metal fans per se. We have to remember that nu metal wasn't really a genre, it was more like something akin to an aesthetic/movement. (1/2)
