@NocturneNugget Standard tamazight is made by merging languages/dialects found in said country, so they're not mutually intelligible across other countries. And its only taught in schools nobody use it to communicate daily

@lesbineca I knew amazigh was an umbrella term for the various indigenous people of North Africa I just never knew how many different languages there were plus there's like standard tamazigh for each country etc etc, would these be mutually intelligible like Arabic dialects btw or nah?

@NocturneNugget Yes tuareg are also amazigh, yet they speak another language. Some people like kabyles or riffians can't understand tuareg but people from the saharan regions can
