It's very obviously not. I'm also conscious of how deep the impact of that statement goes. So I'm trying to be mindful of both angles here. And I hope that things get better.✨

I join the optimistic crowd in saying that a "crypto winter" is useful to shake out the speculation and let the builders build. But in the meantime, as we work towards something better, I'd be lying if I said crypto is free of speculation and gambling today.

The crypto markets are not just down; they're plummeting but they won't stay that way forever. I think there's something powerful that will play out in the long term. 🧵
