@PhilGalfond Consider who this helps… look at who joined the board of Kalshi in January of this year. Prediction markets are not considered gambling for tax purposes.

This new amendment to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act would end professional gambling in the US and hurt casual gamblers, too. You could pay more in tax than you won. Contact your representative quickly.

I cannot find a single scrap of evidence that says tens of thousands of Americans are moving daily to Europe. The best estimate is apparently from 2015 which said about 2 million US citizens live in the EU Meanwhile, we know about 4 million Euros arrived in the US in 2022 alone
