@lfcJ7_ He’s sacrificed creativity for defensive stability. And rightly so, we’re away at a strong side. Bring on Wirtz and Bradley later in the game to take more of a risk to try and win. But considering our issues this season have been mainly defensive, this is a good performance.

@Jabzakawhen @smtm_LFC I agree I think the players are more to blame, way too many errors and not doing the basics right. Saying that I do think some responsibility for that falls on the coaching staff. Getting your players in the right frame of mind and managing confidence is part of coaching.

@smtm_LFC Defensively we are woeful but is that down to Arne or down to the personnel we have at the back? I think the latter because against Leeds we were 2-0 up and stupid in game mistakes let them end the game a draw. Slot still needs time to sort that defense out and I think it's be ok

Haven't been on for a couple of weeks. Not even signed in to have little reads. So I'm interested to know - forget everything with Salah for a moment. What are people's true feelings on Arne Slot & Liverpool? Does he retain your support? Has he lost it? Give him time? Go now?

@smtm_LFC Give him time I say. He’s shown he’s got what it takes, and I think we owe him some time to turn it around. I hate how fickle and short sighted football is. I don’t think anyone could come in and turn it around AND achieve long-term success. He’s still the right man for both imo

@lfcgerrard17 @Tgarratt10 He didn’t. He had a great season, arguably the best prem season of any Liverpool player, but we had 4 players in the PFA TOTY and wouldn’t have won it without those (or Slot for that matter)

You need your teammates and manager to succeed, and Liverpool have given him a platform to achieve greatness. He owes the club just as much as the club owes him.

@DylanR777 Except Liverpool didn't buy the guy who failed at Chelsea. They bought the guy who succeeded at Roma. Bringing Egypt into it is completely unnecessary and pretty obvious a personal jab, as is standard for Carragher's "punditry".

The way Chiesa and Endo have been treated at Liverpool is a disgrace. If they can’t get in the side now then when can they? I believe Arne Slot thinks he’s better than those two players. I think he looks down on the idea of playing a “natural 6” in Endo. When in reality, we’re leaking goals for fun and that’s exactly what we need. We need to steady the ship. There is absolutely no explanation for the treatment of Chiesa over the past few months. I think he thinks we’re better than him, when in reality he’s better than us

@AnfieldEdition Proved his ability last season and heavily backed in the summer. I just don’t see a world where FSG think it’s the right decision to bring someone else in at the moment. The league is gone, adjust expectations, treat this as a transition season.
