Houdini Quick Tip #5: Turn on Autosave - seriously, do it! It's under Edit -> Autosave. Also change the increment time to something longer than the default 1 minute under Edit -> Preferences -> Save and Load Options! I have mine set to 15 minutes :)

@FlippedNormals You can do it proceduraly with painter and smart mask, you gain time, electricity cost and braincell.

Is it best to do high frequency skin in ZBrush or in texturing, like Painter or Mari?
