So, I've been thinking about and talking to people about the Olivia Rodrigo tour dates all day. I've also been thinking about Live Nation and their corrupt business practices... so I looked up the management of all the venues on US tour and heres what I found.

@swiftieswanttix I’m confused what you mean by pick multiple sets of tickets then delete. Because when you’re going on the map, and you click 2 tickets, don’t you have to click “checkout” before they’re saved and have a 10 minute timer? If I just click 2 tickets, and I see them on the side 1/2

i still think that this is a major disappointment - eliminating fan presales and just doing an AMEX sale with an ambiguous ‘cap’ to be determined per venue sucks & it feels like a shitty business decision to consider credit card partnerships over fans

i’m going on tour the presale is in 4 minutes and tickets are $936 oh my godddd wait actually tickets are $2953 actually we just sold out yeah sorry the general sale that was supposed to be in 7 minutes is actually cancelled bc we’re sold outtttttt yeah no there’s no seat map why

no bc live music is my LOVE but i should not have to use two full days of PTO, boom a flight AND a hotel room, and pay HUNDREDS for a two hour show. i fear this is becoming such a norm and the music industry seems to be losing touch with normal people 😭
