@ItsLB_City That really annoyed me. Have they seen some of Arsenal’s celebrations.

fuck me put MOTD on and the first thing they talk about is the city celebrations being excessive. Mainstream media is dying.

@9320pod Domestically, City have just beaten Arsenal twice, Chelsea & Liverpool. In the league, City are the form team. So, City should feel that they can win all their remaining games. Doing it is another matter but it starts with belief. Need full focus on Burnley…

That second half, from back to front, was huge. Arsenal played well at times. But we looked a level above them. Felt like the performance of a team who believe they can win the rest of their games.

@Londonblue_2 It was good. Our support at home gets a lot of stick but it is misplaced: we come up with the goods when we need to.

City fans were great today btw. Atmosphere sounded electric. How was it for those who were there?

@JamesMelville Went to that gig. One of the two worst I ever went to for getting out of the car park after the gig (Genesis at Knebworth in 90’s was the other). Worth it to see Bowie for the first time. Been to MK Bowl several times since but never used car park again.

Photographer Denis O'Regan’s iconic image of David Bowie performing at the Milton Keynes Bowl in 1983. A reminder of a bygone era of no mobile phones at concerts and thousands of people just living in the moment.

@mitchlafon It’s a much better album than that review suggests. I recently bought the new super deluxe version and, having not played the original in ages, was reminded that it is a very good rock album. However, it is Van Hagar: you need Dave for Van Halen.

#throwback review Van Halen - 5150 From the April 17th 1986 Issue of Kerrang (UK mag) Smart a** reviewer, Howard Johnson, writes: “Van Halen is no longer unique, special or brilliant… this might as well be Van Hagar, Van Y&T or Van Journey” “Hagar.. when he opens the album with 'Helloooo Baby! You know he's a jerk!” “Sir Edward is… blissfully unaware that his tunes just ain't getting anywhere!” 😬

I tipped Spurs to slither out of relegation & stay up; not going to change that view yet but they are in deep doo doo. Their run-in is tough. They ought to have enough quality but the test now is mental & that late Brighton goal was a blow; not that Spurs deserved more.

@xX0ffyXx Er, some of us have long appreciated Bernie’s qualities. Not even sure how you choose which one has a bigger legacy but their impact was different and Merlin will inevitably be the more feted of the two.

For me Bernardo. Though many in city ft will say David cuz how he played on the pitch it’s more to today’s fanbase desires, and can’t argue their point David was more aesthetically pleasing on the pitch then what benardo was on a rigor basis. Bernardo was the epitome of a team player you look the definition up and you see his picture. Bernardo did whatever was needed for the success of the team he didn’t care about individual shining , we all know what he’s capable of but he was a glue guy, the heart and soul of our team, always doing the dirty work and to me that speaks volumes … I always look at the intangibles as well versus just pure ball skills and Bernardo has been both for us . Fans never appreciated what he did for us up until this year and brief moments like against Madrid cuz he scored a banger goal but without him we don’t gel like we do in the press , in possession, oop . There is a reason pep asked him to cover Rodri duties in buildup when Rodri went down and kova went down, a reason he played lb, winger , cm , false 9 . I pick Bernardo

It's the hairy handed freak saying what he's been told to say for clicks by his bosses. There's more dignity in blowing strangers in a dark corner of an Lidl car park for a fiver than what he does for money.

@1cornishblue @gazzor61 We get it every year around this time. I had my ticket within 10 minutes of them going on sale but it’s a lot shorter journey for me to Wembley than it will be tomorrow for the Etihad. I spend a fortune just going to home games and Wembley. Only so much one can afford.

@gazzor61 So many ready to judge when they have no idea what it's like to be regular visitors to Wembley. Plus fans who go home and away domestically and in Europe are spending a fortune each season. If it was the first visit to Wembley for 40 years I'm sure City would have sold out too

@Dannynn__ And, of course, we were somewhere in those celebrations with the players in the main stand; just out of shot IIRC. I vividly recall leaving in car after game from near Ewood and some City fans doing the we’re not worthy bit in front of my car due to its number plate.

@Dannynn__ Never had or witnessed a day quite like that. We were at the back of the main Ewood stand: a Blackburn fan we knew got us tickets. Obviously, we were not the only Blues in there. Had a great view of the hill and the party there.
