Historically my school has not allowed mocks to go home, I think students would benefit from looking back at them once they start revising. What do you all do?

Following the school minibus as helping with D of E today, got a warning about tyre pressure. Oops, slight delay.

OK, so the awesome @SparxMaths content team have finished. I'll be sending copies of the y11 to A-level transition tonight for those who let me know. Inside scoop- it's fab and I did the questions myself and really enjoyed it.
Colin Hegarty@hegartymaths

OK, so the Y6/7 transition packs were soooooo popular, that I was thinking of asking the unbelievable content design team @SparxMaths to create a booklet/course to support for y11/12 transition (i.e. getting ready for AS). If a good idea, RT this to sigal "yes please I want one"

@marshasmith244 Hi Marsha. We set all homework on Hegarty last year. Really good and powerful - excellent analysis. I need to check out Sparx. I have thought though that I would like to set some homework to look at methodology and working of key topics, also if recall and retention q’s.

I am looking for an online maths homework platform, that will mark the students work. Currently have MyMaths but it is not used that often by staff or students. Does anyone use Sparx?

Do any maths teachers on here have Ukrainian young people that have moved into their schools? It would be great to discuss strategies that you are using with them.

Talk visualisers to me! We purchased a department set of Hue webcams a few years ago, which are great, but need replacing. Looking for plug and play for illustrating student work, etc. What would you recommend? #maths #mathschat

@MathsImpact My A level student like to write on my tables, they told me that they just throw their work away at the end of the lesson if we use paper.

Currently pondering what exactly the purpose of a students exercise book is. I asked my year 10 today, and a few of them said for revision. Is that right? Do students really revise using their own notes these days? And if so, is that even desirable?

@sainsburys we have just finished this bag of cashews and discovered 15-20grams of salt in the bottom of the bowl. This is not usual. Please advise.

The Smith family decided that we would start a vegetable patch. We were looking for an excuse to be more self sufficient.

We have created student booklets for all of the EdExcel A-Level Maths and Further Maths Courses - we have given these to our students to complete whilst school is closed, using the Powerpoints from @DrFrostMaths (1,000,000 thank yous!). Happy to share with others via OneNote
Claire Lanceley@ClaireLanceley

They are by no means perfect and we are wholly indebted to @DrFrostMaths but our maths dept @KSCMaths have been busy creating booklets for every chapter of every section of the Edexcel A Level Maths and Further Maths course. (1)

@sharonmgilligan Finally got through to speak to someone, 111 is an absolute nightmare. I think she was worse as she has asthma. Very tight chest and coughing, struggling to breath. They advised to go to A and E to get tested due to symptoms, no fever as yet though.

Ok, as schools are still open, any chance of teachers or those living with teachers being tested? Two teachers in the house that can't go to work. Would like to know one way or other. Oh and a daughter in Y11 who is now missing school. Haven't thought this through have you Boris?
