@rob_louw I would say @webflow is neither a good solution for eCommerce. Anyway, eCommerce is not my thing so might be wrong.

@masterflowmaker Framer is still not a good solution for a proper e-commerce store. For the rest I agree.

@agrisdarznieks @webflow Yes, I use that, but you need another subscription the in infinite long lists of subscription, add the app to webflow, coonect the plan. Is just one mor thing to manage that I'd like not to

You want an answer: Framer is for designers as simple as that. Whereas Webflow is for developers, proper SEO, CMS and that's it, a developer can actually work on webflow, if he is in a team, for him framer is not gonna work 🙌 So there is nothing here you can say both are the same, sorry they are not! Webflow is made for diff. people, and framer is made for diff. people🤌

@digitalshane_ Say more please. I have a sense that what you say is the real differentiator. Could you expand with specific scenarios where Framer does not the sacking capabilities Webflow has?

The ability to truly reach scale. Framer will fall apart.

@thisisdanguerra @masterflowmaker @webflow @framer I don't think there's any gap anymore. Webflow has a bit of a learning curve and Framer doesn't. I know both & I find it easier to build a website in Framer than Webflow.

@thisisdanguerra @webflow @framer With that, it seems that you can build a one-off, super nice site But when it comes to scaling it and having more than one person adding content, new pages, etc... it becomes a problem. Is that statement fair?

@masterflowmaker @webflow @framer One client once told me: "I need to learn a programming language to maintain my website??" [client-first, in this case] You don't need to learn naming conventions to build a website in Framer. That is why agencies are using designers to make websites in Framer.

@marvinaziz @webflow @framer When you say lac of robust CMS, where exactly in Framer CMS do you see that is less powerful than Webflow's. Never used Framer before and trying to understand the differences Thanks for you response in advance

@masterflowmaker @webflow Not only that: 1. 80% of our revenue is design 2. We barely have new clients for Webflow. It's 4/5 is Framer.

Are there any agencies still exclusively doing Webflow-dev (not design)? I'm seeing that everyone has turned in to design + @webflow subscription model.

@kabarza_ @webflow I believe if well positioned as a Webflow partner rather than just the guy who will implement the designs, there is room to own that space. At lest, there is where I want to head, unless I learn there might be a better way

@masterflowmaker @webflow Yes pretty much. In my experience, the projects were much smaller as well. Since I was the last in the chain, it meant less budget and higher time pressure too.

@kabarza_ @webflow When doing dev-only, your clients could potentially be from this 2-tiers - Clients that already work with a design agency but are not proficcient in webflow - Agencies already managing big accounts but do not want to build an internal Webflow team

I started doing dev only. My first hires were all dev. But naturally, clients came who wanted more. So I found a great designer. Now I have 2. Trying to scale. You probably know the finsweet story as well. They had a full back and forth. They were dev only, started doing design, it didn’t work for them, so they went back to dev only, to go back to full stack agency again. Dev only would be probably hard to pull off. What if client comes and says they need design? You could have a partner, but it more efficient, to have it vertically integrated.
