In order to get EtherFi’s entry level physical card you have to deposit $40. You get the deposit back after spending enough to reach Luxe status (or you can stake/hold 15k Ethfi). At first I was a little annoyed, but after getting the card it’s made me want to spend more to get to the next tier. I like the gamification and the feeling of being embedded into the ecosystem more and more over time. The first entry point and ease of onboarding with virtual card makes it so you can get to your first txn fast. Then the progression with spend and the physical cards carries the user through a journey that both incentives usage and encourages spending to the next tier. One thing crypto native card programs get is gamification. You can really tell when people have been in the space a long time because product journeys echo vestiges of the glory token launch days and the unique game theory that only degens really understand. @ether_fi might be my favorite card program yet.

Claude is winning because rich people are providing the training data Poor meta has to train AI with the peasants of the internet Long term this will have fascinating outcomes and personality style differences as people put feedback into the system
Epoch AI@EpochAIResearch

80% of US adults who report using Claude in the previous week live in households earning $100,000 or more a year, compared to 37% of Meta AI users. Other major providers cluster in a relatively narrow band, with 56–64% of users in $100,000+ households.

Non KYC cards are cool but they never last long, and you usually get hit with huge taxes, around 5% minimum. For me, I use @KASTxyz every day. The cards are from Hong Kong and Puerto Rico, so you’re super chill with the IRS tbh. And KYC stands for Know Your Customer. It’s usually handled by third party apps. If some entity wants info on you, KYC has nothing to do with it. KYC is there to protect the company from malicious users, and sometimes it’s needed. So you’d rather start using Kast, farm their airdrop, receive a huge cashback and get actual benefits from a crypto card instead of paying stupid taxes.

1/ We just completed a protocol-wide security hardening pass on the weETH bridge across majority of deployed chains. No exploit occurred. This closes a latent risk proactively and puts every security-relevant bridge parameter fully under EtherFi's control.

The KelpDAO hacker has swapped nearly all of its 75,700 ETH holdings, worth about $175 million, into BTC over roughly a day and a half. The cross-chain swaps were primarily routed through THORChain. Due to the sheer size of the transactions, the laundering activity also generated about $800 million in volume and roughly $910,000 in platform fee revenue for THORChain. Update on rsETH incident: @LlamaRisk has published a report outlining the rsETH incident, the immediate actions taken, its impact on Aave, and potential paths forward. All service providers have been working to assess the two potential bad debt scenarios on the Aave protocol. Aave DAO service providers are also leading an effort with ecosystem participants to address any bad debt. This effort already has several indicative commitments from various parties and we are grateful for the strong support we have received so far. We will share further updates as we have them. In the meantime, the full report can be read here: governance.aave.com/t/rseth-incide…
