In all of Lebanon's history, the Lebanese Army has never been humiliated by it's own government as it is under the current Nawaf Salam government. They insist on keeping it disarmed and told it to retreat from the south to let Israel enter, because it doesn't have weapons to defend itself. This is the humiliation that Washington imposes on the Lebanese state. Not even allowed to have a $500 FPV drone Not even allowed to have a government meeting to discuss the Lebanese Army's armament and defense strategies. Total submission, stripped of every single ounce of sovereignty.
