@Asamoh_ A lot of factors come into play
No two projects are ever the same so construction cost will never be a fixed amount

Pettiest reason I ever left someone,he started telling me nikipata TSC tutachukua loans,👀👀👀Tu ni nani?
English

@kype_computers Wachana na mambo ya of late kwanza,
First things first, tea is very labour intensive which requires money. So hapo already a big chunk of your capital(loan) itaingia hapo.
Second, it takes about 2 yrs before you start harvesting the tea leaves. By now ushaanza kulipa loan.
English

@2njerii Aah nice.
I see what you did there😁
Only a "Here we go!" announcement beats this one.
English

@DanielSolitei @SteveNjue_ Hapo kwa harvestable in 7 days ni relative but we can allow.
Anyway, more needs to be done in terms of research and development for the sector, more on value addition of the crop and all. I would love to hear all those campaigning talking about what they will do in that regard.

In the 1990s, Mbeere North was counted among the poorest regions in Kenya.
Subsistence farming of maize, millet, and beans could barely sustain families.
In Kianjiru and Mbita, farmers began testing miraa varieties, working to adapt them to the semi‑arid soils.
From these trials, muguka proved successful, thriving in dry conditions and harvestable in just 7 days.
Today, muguka is a multi‑billion shilling industry, generating KSh 10B+ annually for the region.

@luhyaheat Greenview used to be great. But since a certain influencer aingie huko, things haven't been the same again-not sure there is a correlation there though😉.
Anyways, we need the Greenview of 3yrs ago. It was a proper gem.

@DanielSolitei @Fredmunene_ Hapa itabidi as farmers we make a collective decision not to use these chemicals. Or better yet, we commision some industrial chemists/agro chemists to produce safer herbicides and pesticides.
Na tusisahau best practices in handling the chemicals.
English

Let me break your heart today so you can make a sound decision.
A friend of mine has lost his multimillion business to cancer. Until the day you start adding friends to a WhatsApp group to raise money for treatment, you will never understand this pain.
Glyphosate and other weed killers are harmful. Research by Panzacchi et al., published on June 10, 2025, shows these products are carcinogenic to consumers. Now imagine what happens to farmers who handle them daily. My God.
If you are from Timau in Meru, you have heard or seen what these chemicals have done to people around you. Yet the government does not care, as long as they collect taxes. Distributors do not care either, because they do not eat the food you grow. You have already given them enough money to buy organic food for themselves.
Farmers, your health is your responsibility.
Avoid toxic chemicals.
Avoid glyphosate.
Avoid weed killers.
They will kill your soil, your health, and your future.
