This is why, as a man, you should always work out and be well-built. There is a kind of appearance you will have, man or woman will think twice before doing rubbish to you. The only reason that babe ignored that guy was because he is a feminine guy. If it was a well-built guy, she would stand up from that seat!

Whenever I visited my ex, he would give me money to go get foodstuffs alone, I would cook, clean, and serve while he played game. And whenever I complain of him not assisting me, he would say he has played his part by providing money. The rest are my duties. So I waited till it was his time to visit me, I made sure there was no food at my house. Just water. He asked what I cooked, and I requested money so I could go get foodstuffs. He told me I was the host, and I ought to be the one to provide the food. Immediately, I opened my purse and gave him cash to go buy foodstuffs he would cook for us since that was how he treated me too. He was confused. He thought it was a joke. I stood my ground. That night, we both slept hungry. He went back the following day and never called me again, till date.

I saw a video from the Aba content creators conference where a guy dropped his food on his seat and went out and a lady carried his food, put it on the ground and sat on his seat. The guy returned and asked the lady to leave his seat but she refused. Nobody said anything and the few who did were telling him sorry so that he would leave the seat. It was when he pushed the lady away that they bundled him out of the conference. What annoyed me wasn’t just how everything switched and how the girl made herself look pitiful. It was because it was fellow men who walked this guy out. They kept quiet when the fracas was happening and only swung into action after he pushed her away from his seat. Why the double standard? Shalom!

As a man, from the moment you’re born, the world is already stacked against you. Look at this. The young man proved beyond reasonable doubt that the seat was his, his things were right there. But instead of anyone telling the girl to get up, instead of a single person stepping in to calm things down or speak up for what’s right… they just sat there. Laughing. That’s what hurts the most. They weren’t waiting to help. They were waiting for him to react. Waiting for him to raise his voice, lose his temper so they could finally point fingers. Not at the girl who took his seat. At him. Always at him. Nobody asks what pushed him. Nobody cares about the root cause. Just the reaction. Whoever said “To be a man is not easy” wasn’t just talking. That person had lived it. Felt it. Carried it. Because being a man means the world watches you struggle and calls it entertainment.
