NEWS: Kentucky transfer Jaland Lowe has committed to Georgetown, he announced. The 6-1 junior posted 8.0 ppg and 2.4 apg in 9 games for Kentucky before he was sidelined with a shoulder injury. At Pitt in 24-25, Lowe averaged 16.8 ppg/5.5 apg.

This is brutal for Seton Hall but I’m noticing a troubling trend for the Big East as well. Villanova, Seton Hall, Butler, Providence, & Georgetown have all lost either their best players or talented young players. None of those schools made the tournament in 2026… Each of them are now practically starting over from scratch. I know it’s not all due to lack of NIL money but it’s still problematic seeing the a mass exodus of the leagues most promising, most talented players leaving for SEC, B10, B12, & ACC schools. It’s still very early in the cycle but seeing all these players exit from multiple Big East schools after such a down year for the league overall, is extremely discouraging. #SJUBB
