The $SPX has bounced perfectly off the midline I talked about 2 weeks ago.
If we are nearing the end of the frontal attack of this war, I think this holds and then some. At the very least, we can see that markets want to look past this. And we're still in a very strong economy with EPS revisions still going higher and a manufacturing sector that is showing strength for the first time in 1.5 years.
Lets get it! ๐ฅณ

I would expect today to be another down day. As I've posted recently. The $SPX could drop towards the midline (1) with a possible overshoot to peak volumes as we have a lot of air underneath us. None of this is bad, and should be a nice bounce zone for higher prices later in the year. Like I've said a few times. Take the pain early, then have the markets shooting higher later in the year because of a peace dividend, just in time for mid terms. I'm traveling today. So, please tag me in any articles/posts that you think I should be reviewing. Hope you all have a great day!

$SPX Beautiful dead cat bounce today.
But now the day is over we move on and look forward.
We are STILL in a downtrend as marked by the blue line. And now we are right back retesting the orange line breakdown.
So two confluences of resistance here the bulls have to fight through. If so, the 200dma retest is right there.
Bears for the last 3 weeks, you ate, and ate gooood. Today was an overdue bounce. Albeit quite a big one. So no shame in that. But now you must defend.
See you in April.

NEWS: The Nasdaq has officially announced that they are changing their inclusion rules to make it easier for large-cap companies to enter its main index faster.
New changes:
โขย โFast Entryโ added. Large IPOs can join ~15 trading days after going public (vs 3 months before)
โข 10% float minimum removed
โข Low-float stocks allowed (with capped weighting)
โข Shift to fully quarterly, rank-based rebalances
โข Market cap now includes listed + unlisted shares
โข These changes take go into effect on May 1, 2026
This means when/if SpaceX IPOs, the company could be added to the Nasdaq 100 as soon as 15 days after it IPOs, potentially triggering tens of billions of dollars of forced buying upon index inclusion.

If you're trading options without understanding the Greeks, you're flying blind.
Here's what each one means and why it matters:
Delta - How much your option moves for every $1 move in the stock. A 0.50 delta means the option gains $0.50 when the stock moves $1. Also serves as a rough probability estimate. I target ~0.20 delta when selling puts (~80% chance of keeping premium).
Theta - How much value your option loses each day just from time passing. This is why selling options is so powerful. When you sell, theta works for you. When you buy, it works against you. It accelerates hard inside 30 days.
Gamma - How fast delta changes as the stock moves. High gamma means your delta can shift quickly, making the position more volatile. This matters most for short-dated options near the money.
Vega - How much your option's price changes when implied volatility moves. High IV = expensive options (good for selling). Low IV = cheap options (good for buying LEAPs). This is the first thing I check before any trade.
Rho - How much your option's price changes when interest rates move. The least impactful Greek for most retail traders, but worth knowing it exists.
The two that matter most for my system:
Theta is why I sell options. Time decay puts money in my pocket every single day.
Vega is why I check IV before every trade. It tells me whether to sell premium or buy LEAPs.
You don't need a PhD in the Greeks. But understanding these five will immediately make you a better options trader.
