stop calling PCS "the artistic score" excelling in components REQUIRES technical skill. having mediocre skating skills isn't a "personal artistic interpretation" or "subjective stylistic choice", it's an objective technical flaw. artistry is built upon absolute technical prowess.

Not everything is about "consumption" though. For ex. it means a lot to a Turkish skater to experience the Worlds, it becomes a matter of national pride too, although he knows that he wont rank among the top 20.
