Tonight (right now actually) @nycDSA is holding a virtual candidate forum with AOC as they consider whether to endorse her for reelection. The endorsement itself hardly matters – AOC will obviously win reelection – but it’s significant as DSA and AOC prep for a potential presidential run in 2028. @AramyxFun @Greenthunder200 The standouts are the fact that he gets a scene just chatting with Ignatz and Raphael, and the lines he gets thrown at him about being Almyran by Claude wouldn't work for anyone else. For a side character, he just feels better integrated into VW

@AramyxFun @Greenthunder200 In SS cyril has individual lines in 4 scenes, but is not really interacting with any of the students. In VW he has 8, and most of them are imo more substantial than SS where like 3/4 of them is him reiterating he wants to save Rhea vs VW there's a wider range of interactions

cyril is a cool unit and its criminal he joins so late in silver snow because that's the route where I want to use him the most because, y'know, rhea.

@fortayee I think FE keeps changing and sometimes it takes a while to tune the new features they're trying. Like I know folks hate the monastery but I don't think the assumption should be that the devs don't know which parts can be improved when even 3hopes was a much better hub experience

The best argument about 3h being bad to replay is that you find the maps or some other quality of the gameplay very unfun. Which is totally valid and also a valid argument for every game in the series because of how subjective it is. I do think 3h has uniquely bad maps tho
