@BorgiaJay @GSV_STL Did you say COACHES BEING LAZY? Well, let me tell you this about being lazy!!! A 7 hour workday, with grading, classes, teaching, lesson planning, game planning, practice, meetings and then being a father/husband. Them damn stats can wait. SORRY NOT SORRY!!!

Teams are doing a disservice to their players by not putting in stats online especially after losses. It should be part of their job to keep track of their stats within 24 hours after their game ends. It’s also great for the fans to keep track of whose good on their teams or opposing teams. It’s never been easier and faster to upload stats to STL Today or MaxPreps. There’s no excuse.

🔥Most D-Linemen stop their feet after striking their opponent. Instead KEEP DRIVING after contact so you can reset the line of scrimmage. Here's a drill from UGA to hone this skill.

🔥The best position to take on a double team is between the two blockers doubling you. So, when you feel outside pressure, make sure to “get skinny” and wedge yourself between the blockers doubling you. Below is a drill to help you practice this…

I always get a few questions on the numbers I use to classify coverages, and it’s totally fair since there’s no universal terminology. I’ve also altered it a bit over the past few years. This is just what I use to communicate structure and the basic mechanics of a coverage.

Before May 10th, no PN jumper that qualified for state was able to hit qualifying mark this year. What changed? -Illinois weather improved. -Meaningful drills that translate. -Belief.

🔥Don’t ever let your opponent capture your shoulder. Instead fight pressure with pressure by violently pressing w/ the outside hand and pulling w/ the inside. Here’s a drill to improve this skill.

Republic Eureka, Francis Howell, Jackson and Oak Park are expected to move up to Class 6 due to the new rule changes with Class 6 adding 10 schools.

This guy. Brandon Staples mangled his right hand in a shot put accident in practice before the first meet. Could have called it a career as he was a Senior. He didn’t, learned to throw disc w/his other hand, made Varsity, earned a spot at Districts, & scored on Saturday 😮🤯💪🏾
