literally constant performing is how rock stars end up doing drugs imagine since u were a child god😭also, being overworked sometimes makes child stars turn away from is as adults. shows how much he loved performance & music that he stayed stage the next 20 yrs

5 days of a week of grueling vocal & physical stress, no sense of routine, constant nights on the road. that’s how child stars burn out. it’s a miracle michael ended up healthy in adulthood. that’s not thanks to their parenting, he thrived in spite of how he was raised

michael was being worked every. single. day of his teens. they’d have a performance in france one day & germany the next. it makes me side eye when katherine & joe would say they were so proud the kids never did drugs bc that type of overworking is not how you raise a child
