@rA9_main Welp, I have no idea what iOS version this blob is for. img4tool refuses to validate it for any 9.2.x or 9.3.x version, when I know it's one of those. Annoyingly I only have the specific version on a HDD that's not plugged in 🙃 Guess that's tomorrow's job.

@Vyce_Merculous @rA9_main Pretty sure thats just formatting, this is from a known good blob. The digest is smaller on my older blobs but that might just be due to it being old.

@moski_dev @rA9_main Hmm, I wonder if those dashes mean there’s no ramdisk signature. I haven’t done stuff like that in a long time.

@moski_dev @rA9_main I think it was if your apnonce wasn’t like 0x1111… you could set it via checkm8, but I don’t think blobs with no generator will work. If you happen to get all of the nonces (SEP included) then it might work because checkm8? Jon has told me before, you need ramdisk sig also?

@Vyce_Merculous @rA9_main My memory may be off, since it's been so long, but wasn't there progress made with restoring using blobs with either a mismatched generator or no generator at all? Via checkm8 of course.

@moski_dev @rA9_main I’m not sure if we even have a method for no generator blobs. If you manage to produce the exactly nonces, then I guess. From what I understand, if it’s missing a ramdisk signature or something along that, it won’t be useable, until there’s a fix.

Impossible has been done. First successful blackbird downgrade on iPhone 6s to iOS 10.0.1 tethered without SHSH blobs. It was painful but it was worth it at the end :)) W/ passcode fully working.

It's a real shame that Reddit seems to care this little about the community that rather than making an effort to talk to developers and moderators and apologize for how this was handled, they'd rather just wall themselves off and and dare users to keep going.

Apparently if you try booting iOS 10 with iOS 15 mainOS iOS 10 will literally remove the APFS partitions on your device... I don't think this is fixable so once seprmvr64 iOS 9 / 10 comes out it's gonna be tethered :P
