The"build in public" thing gets cringe sometimes but the underlying idea is right: -> showing your work creates trust -> trust creates community -> community creates distribution. It's a flywheel, most people skip the first step because they're scared of being wrong publicly.

If you are pitching a consumer crypto product, you should pretend like you are pitching a non-crypto VC. This may be controversial, but for a moment, put the philosophy aside. Pretend that decentralization and censorship resistance do not exist. As a standalone, is your product great? Is it fast? Is the UX seamless? If the answers to those questions are no, then it’s not good enough.
