Dan, in your first call, which I think is the first and last occasion you and I ever spoke: (1) you seemed upset that I had received and had released FBI whistleblower information about the pipe bomb investigation. (2) I informed you that your staff had threatened to criminally investigate my staff as retribution against me (for pipe bomb or Epstein activity?) (3) you threatened to personally finance a defamation suit against reporters on behalf of a suspect. Perhaps it was also a veiled threat to sue me. You said “those depositions aren’t going to fun for the people involved” or something like that. In any case, Deputy FBI Director shouldn’t be financing civil lawsuits against reporters covering cases the FBI is working on. (4) you said you were going to call every agent in and get to the bottom of the whistleblower issue. (5) you offered me a briefing but I was going to be tied up until at least 6pm on the Epstein files transparency act, so I asked how late i could get the briefing and you said you were going to leave the office at 5pm. (6) I asked you a few questions on the call and your answers indicated to me that you were perhaps less informed than me on some of the issues, or you were going to be less than forthcoming. A few hours after the call, I received and released new FBI whistleblower information regarding the all-hands meeting (which matched what you told me in #4 above), related to concern that the meeting was called to “out” the whistelblowers. Your second (attempted) call was the evening I achieved 218 signatures on the Epstein discharge petition and I had been busy thwarting Mike Johnson’s last ditch effort to derail the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Not sure why your call log shows 1:36am. You called me in the evening, maybe 8ish? note - my staff also had the unfortunate pleasure of receiving numerous late night calls on Signal from FBI staff telling them there was absolutely nothing in the Epstein case and that I should back off.

I’ve lived through some terribly turbulent times in our nation and in the world. Vietnam almost tore this country apart. Watergate was a severe wound. The Manson murders shredded the fabric of our culture. 9/11 was shocking. The COVID pandemic and ensuing political madness were bitter and disgraceful. I now feel, however, that the disturbing malaise poisoning our current world is in many ways worse than all of these other events. It is literally as if the world has spun off its axis, never to find balance again. I’ve never been more concerned about the future of the human race. And the worst part of all of it, is that it’s predictable, and therefore preventable. Everything that’s wrong is staring us right in the face, and half this country simply will not join us in fighting and fixing it. It’s infuriating and depressing and maddening.

I got a lot of shit for saying why I don't trust the Joe Kent trajectory and, why I was obviously put on the spot about it and could have been more articulate, I think the points I brought up are very reasonable. If the top counter-terror spook resigns to amplify rhetoric (even if it's mostly accurate) that the current administration defines as indicative of "domestic terrorism" AND that spook was previously also funded by Peter Thiel, the co-founder and chairman of the intelligence contractor working to establish domestic terror pre-crime in the US, I think it's fair to be skeptical of him. Trump previously considered making a pre-crime program using AI to flag the social media accounts of Americans who displayed "warning signs" of violence or "mental illness". It's main advocate was Jared Kushner. There have been many recent media efforts to equate criticism of Israel to "anti-semitism" and "anti-semitism" to mental illness. Most social media giants are owned or funded by people who lied about their ties to Epstein and also contract for (or are otherwise linked to) the US national security apparatus. That same apparatus has expanded infrastructure for the supposed "War on Domestic Terror" with the blessing of every administration since George W. Bush, it is bipartisan, and they didn't just build it for no reason - they intend to use it at some point. Also, the idea that there is a "civil war" in the White House, as proposed by people like Nick Fuentes, over the Iran War only helps JD Vance, who is also tied at the hip to Palantir's Peter Thiel. I took a lot of shit in the past for my stances on Covid, on Trump being a neocon, and on Epstein's intel ties, etc. etc. way before it was "popular" to do so but which turned out to be correct. I am not here to be popular or to tell you what you want to hear. I have been early on a lot of stories that other people now take credit for after the fact.
