Arrived in Colorado for a week of competitive softball! The schedule: An @ILChillGold combine with Indiana Magic Gold, practice games at 16U, then @BoulderIDT against some tough teams.

So excited and honored to be named West Suburban Silver All-Conference! I had such a great time this season and made memories I’ll never forget. I’m especially going to miss our seniors and everything they brought to this team. Fresh off injury, got called into a tight game. Went 2-3 with big at-bats, made plays in the field, and helped @OPRFSoftball get a huge conference win. Feels good to be back. @ChiCheetahsOrg @CheetahsLukasik @joshbaer24 @BoDomeBville @OPRFSoftball

The Huskies won tonight 8-7. @ZoeD2029 got out of a jam in the 6th, getting 5 straight outs after a one hour lightning delay to earn the win. @JuliaHenderson0 had a huge night going 3-4 with a 💣 and 4 RBIs. @MayaMendell20 also had 3 hits with a 2B and 3 RBIs. @LEIAHAMMERSCHM1 went 2-3. @lilymaas31 @CharlieT2028 @averylane444 @msmithcheetahs @HarperTravis27 all had hits as well.

In our second game in Tennessee, the Huskies had a great late inning comeback and defeated Marysville (OH) in 8 innings 5-4. Freshmen @ZoeD2029 went the distance needing only 78 pitches for the win. Junior @msmithcheetahs got her second walk-off hit in the past three games.

Such a great week in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with @OPRFSoftball varsity going 6-0. So proud of how well we played together, competed every game, and kept the energy high all weekend. Huskies win a wild one 8-7 over Yorkville on a 3-run walkoff HR by @msmithcheetahs. With two outs and nobody both @SStaszak406 and @HarperTravis27 (2B) got on base to keep the inning alive which allowed for Margot Smith’s heroics.
