i think the first littles line understood this better which is why they're not all the little sisters(/brother) of the main 8 but of different characters so they can look more distinguishable Also obviously a lot of them use the same molds but im talking about colors

i'm not much into the media for lalaloopsy but i do love the dolls and feel like it also has this problem to a lesser extent mostly because they're almost all the same skintone and there are repeating hair colors

@SMReplies my take is kind of lukewarm but... what makes character-driven fashion doll lines so good is that the characters are all distinguishable from each other, have their own color palettes and motifs, patterns, etc... i feel like moonspell all blends into one

@SMReplies on their own any of the moonspell designs are great, and they definitely do look cohesive as a group, but they're not distinguishable from one another in my opinion. i hope that if we get more releases of them we can see more of their personalities in their outfits
