What is the workaroud about loki joining the strawhats is that he joins hajrudins crew as a co captain. The OG giant pirates had 2 captains so its not too far off for the new giant pirates to be similar. That would make loki part of luffys fleet and he can stay big

I personally believe that Loki wields the Leviathan fruit - a grand serpent akin to the Norse Nidhogg or Jormungandr! This fruit would be closely tied to the ancient history of the world by way of the “great serpent soaked in blood” from the legends of Elbaf as well as the serpent on the Mural!
