No changes to my swing short.
Trimmed the add from 78K to improve avg entry (74.6K > 76Ks) while keeping original size intact.
SSL unchanged. I am seeing early LTF exhaustion, EQHs formed, local trendline broken, and heading into a historically weaker period (May).
Bias: downside into low 70s, with 67.3K CME gap as the main target. (Approximately in a few weeks)
PA suggests liquidity is being trapped, slow chop around highs.
Overall, not seeing anything unexpected.

I’m still in the same $BTC short position. No celebrating yet, price is still slightly above my entry. I’ll be looking to reduce some risk on the portion I added to improve my average from 74.6K to 76K while price was trading at 78.4K. This isn’t because I’ve lost confidence, but simply to manage risk properly in case we see another sweep into FOMC. This is a method I use on most swing positions: look for signs of exhaustion, add to the trade, then close the added size at breakeven. In effect, I maintain the same core short exposure, but with an improved average entry. Until we accept below 75K, there’s nothing particularly bearish from a surface level PA perspective, as we’re still trading above the range. If we move back into the range, then a move below 70K becomes more likely. Nothing has changed regarding my overall thesis or plan, just a small update on how I’m managing the position.

Absolutely 0% chance $BTC trends over 100K this year.
The fact that 42% still expect this yearly candle to turn green shows sentiment hasn’t hit true capitulation yet.
The next 90 days are going to be some of the trickiest conditions to trade. More likely to see sub-60K.

Seeing a nice push upwards into FOMC on the LTF.
Either we end up seeing a sweep of the PWH (79.3K) or we form a LH before sweeping 73.7K.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see price revisit the previous weekly open around 73.7K in the near term.
That said, we have FOMC tomorrow. We may get some range bound movement as liquidity builds, potentially with a small push up before continuation to the downside.
Just a possibility which wouldn't surprise me.
