We’re back to No. 1 on the leaderboard! 🎉 After months of hard work, what a journey! It’s also the best option for fast and low-cost generation. Meanwhile, we’re cranking day and night on v2 to make it even stronger. Try it and let us know what we can improve — your feedback is invaluable. → docs.x.ai/developers/mod…

Everyone says we all get the same 24 hours. But most people don’t own 24 hours. 8–10 are sold to work. 6–8 are lost to sleep. 1–2 disappear commuting. Another 1–3 go to cooking, cleaning, errands, and getting ready. That leaves most people with maybe 2–5 hours a day that are actually theirs. Some days, basically zero. Now imagine technology gives back the 8–10 hours people currently trade just to survive. That is the real promise of AI and automation. Not faster emails. Not better apps. Not “productivity.” A post-labor economy means the cost of producing things collapses. Food gets cheaper when robots farm, package, transport, and cook it. Housing gets cheaper when machines build faster with less waste. Healthcare gets cheaper when AI handles admin, diagnosis, monitoring, and drug discovery. Education gets cheaper when every person has a personal tutor. Software gets cheaper when one person can build what used to take a whole team. When labor is no longer the main cost, everything can become dramatically cheaper. But if AI replaces massive amounts of human labor and all the gains go to a tiny group of owners, society breaks. You can’t automate away people’s income, keep the profits at the top, and expect everyone else to quietly accept it. Some form of redistribution becomes unavoidable. If machines create most of the value, the benefits have to flow back to society. Otherwise the system stops working. And once basic goods become abundant and cheap, status changes. People stop chasing more stuff and start valuing what actually matters: Time. Health. Relationships. Creativity. Adventure. Learning. Community. Because even in a world of abundance, we still all get the same 24 hours. The real wealth of the future won’t just be what you own. It will be how you spend the time technology gives back.
shift@joinshiftX

Today, we're launching shift. We're starting by cleaning your apartment in New York City, for free. Here's how it works. Book a shift cleaning. A vetted shift operator comes to your home wearing one of our devices. They clean. They leave. You pay nothing. In exchange, we record the cleaning. Robotics is being built on data about how people do daily tasks, and the value of that recording is what funds the service. Anything personal in it is anonymized before the recording is processed. By now, you have heard about the shift to AI more times than you can count. About the shift toward you, the part where you actually feel it, you have heard almost nothing. Shift is what starts to make it concrete, in specific cities, with specific services. Today, cleaning in New York. Soon, handymen, repairs, and errands across the globe. And this is just one side of shift, with more on the way. Comment “shift” and we’ll send you an early access link.

Right now? Yes but the ‘Job or starve’ is obsolete thinking in the near future. Robots are about to create trillions in new wealth. Prices will drop hard. Redistribution from that boom means abundance + voluntary pursuits, not forced wage slavery to survive. Clinging to bs work as virtue won’t stop progress. So like I said study post-labor economics or stay coping, the future’s arriving either way

The exact opposite will happen. Do you think my cleaning lady enjoys coming to my house every other week to scrub and clean? Of course not. If she could trade places with me, she’d take it in a heartbeat. Humans shouldn’t be forced into work they hate just to survive. Same goes for the millions of warehouse workers doing repetitive, back-breaking jobs, they do it because they have to, not because they want to. Robots liberate people. Study post-labor economics and you’ll see how this plays out: abundance, choice, and real human flourishing, not bs work that crushes the spirit.

@AureusArena @hunnidtabss @luvu2golka These robots “providing value” will ruin the minds/spirit of the everyday person. I don’t need to rely on something else because I’m too lazy/incompetent to do simple tasks myself
