This is a sensitive topic. I don't want a fan story where Hiro tells Hank about train shootings by US planes. And I think the same goes for C56 44 and C56 31. As a locomotive enthusiast, I hope that C56 44 and C56 31 are not easily used as characters in TTTE fan stories.

Although the Thai C56s could be described as complicit in war crimes, it should also be noted that the remaining C56s in Japan, like other Japanese trains, suffered from civilian train gunfire attack from US plane (the recorded ED16 7 train caused more than 50 civilian deaths).

Do you think in the Thomas universe this engine agreed to be a James cosplayer and make children happy as a way of atoning for their horrible past? WWII is canon to the Thomas timeline so there are absolutely steam engines who were involved in some heinous things.
