@heartgorealice Im convinced that most of these doctors go into the profession for the sake of legacy, prestige and/or money. They dgaf that people’s lives QUITE LITERALLY depend on them at all 💀 im manifesting a proper doctor for you soon tho, it really sucks to not be heard

this!!! i have almost every symptom of the things ive been trying to get a diagnosis for, and the funniest part is theyre so heavily comorbid that its crazy they dont listen. not to mention ive had covid which increases my chances of having developed certain conditions... i tell them its affecting my everyday life to a significant point i cant even leave my bed, how is this anxiety and depression if its not because im sad but because im in agony?? i see so many people w the same stories and now im one of them labelled as a mystery because the doctors dont know what to do or they just dont care. like i started realising my condition may be neurological when i ticced more before or during seizure activity, and less when i wasnt. when in the past it was so bad i wouldnt go 1 minute without several, and back then i had small clusters of seizures and didnt even know but no one believed me because absency is ignored heavily. but the second i get put on seizure meds i have no seizures and less tics, i got taken off and now i have more issues and seizure activity starting up again. i still tic when i dont have activity but its no where near as bad or constant unless its an attack. theyll blame the increase on "anxiety" yes because losing my awareness and jerking is "anxiety" ok miss tard how do u suppose i stop this ? and they never have an answer ! its so easy to just listen to your patients, they have all the resources to do the research and figure out the true issue and rhey just choose not to

small vent but im honestly tired of being i validated by medical professionals. i have chronic pain and fatigue everywhere (esp my head and legs) but because my blood test results are fine its completely dismissed, just gotta take some vitamins!

@heartgorealice Also why do doctors think that having multiple conditions at the same time is rare when having condition A increases your likelihood of having condition B? Its more likely to have a few disorders tgt than having ONLY one

@heartgorealice Ive seen sooo many ppl say that once you get dxed with anxiety doctors just dismiss EVERYTHING as that, and if you ask for medication you get labelled as “med-seeking”. Its so so evil its like they only want to feel power and a sense of control over patients instead of helping us

its just frustrating that people without chronic/mental illnesses hold doctors to such high regards when the reality is that they let many of us slip through the cracks of the system

it took my years of fighting to be diagnosed with depression even though i had all the symptoms and my therapist agreed with me, but now bringing up any other symptoms gets reduced to “its just your depression” when its more likely to have comorbid disorders than not
