افغانستان ہمارا پڑوسی اسلامی ملک ہے، پاکستان کی جانب سے افغانستان پر حملے تشویشناک اورسمجھ سے بالاتر ہیں۔  یہ بات کسی سے ڈھکی چھپی نہیں ہے کہ کچھ عرصہ قبل پاکستان کے وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے امریکہ کے صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ سے ملاقات کی تھی جس میں صدرٹرمپ نے اعلان کیا تھا کہ انہیں افغانستان کا بگرام ایئربیس چاہیے۔اس کے بعد سے افغانستان سے لڑائی کاسلسلہ شروع ہوگیا ہے اور پاکستان کی جانب سے افغانستان میں حملے کئے جارہے ہیں۔  افغانستان سےپاکستان کی کبھی جنگ نہیں تھی،جب 1979ءمیں افغانستان میں سوویت یونین کی آمد کے خلاف افغانیوں نے لڑائی شروع کی تو وہ پاکستان کی لڑائی نہیں تھی لیکن بیرونی طاقتوں کے مفادات کے لئے اس لڑائی کوجہاد کانام دیاگیا اور اس کا مرکز افغانستان سے اٹھاکرپاکستان لے آیاگیا، روس کے خلاف افغان مجاہدین کوتیار کیاگیا،انہیں اسلحہ اورٹریننگ دی گئی، اس کے لئے پاکستان کے قبائلی علاقوں کوچنا گیا، پاکستان کے تمام شہروں میں جہادی مدرسے قائم کئےگئے، علمااورمفتیوں کی جانب سے افغان جہاد میں شرکت کے فتوے جاری کئے گئے،ملک بھرمیں مذہبی جماعتوں کی جانب سے کیمپ لگائے گئے اورلوگوں کوافغانستان میں جہاد میں شرکت کے لئے کھلی دعوت دی گئی، ان کے نام لکھے گئے اورافغان جہاد کے نام پر انہیں ٹریننگ دیکرسوویت یونین کے خلاف لڑنے کے لئے افغانستان بھیجا گیا، اس مقصد کے لئے بوریوں میں بھر بھر کے ڈالر ملے۔حالانکہ وہ پاکستان کی جنگ نہیں تھی لیکن بیرونی طاقتوں کے مفادات کے لئے پاکستان کو اس جنگ میں جھونک دیا گیا اورپاکستان کواس جنگ کا اڈہ بنادیا گیا۔آج پھرپاکستان کوبیرونی طاقتوں کے مفادات کی لڑائی کا اڈہ بنایا جارہا ہے اور افغانستان پر حملے کئے جارہے ہیں اورپاکستان کامیڈیا اس حوالے سے بڑی بڑی بریکنگ نیوز دے رہاہے۔  میں پاکستان کے حکمرانوں سے کہتا ہوں کہ امریکہ اورمغربی طاقتوں نےبھی کئی برسوں تک افغانیوں سے لڑائی کی اورپھربالآخر انہیں وہاں سے نکلناپڑا۔ اب پاکستان کی جانب سے افغانستان سے لڑائی کی جارہی ہے۔ میں پاکستان کےحکمرانوں سے کہتا ہوں کہ افغانستان ہماراپڑوسی اسلامی ملک ہے، اس سے جنگ نہ کریں، اس پر حملے نہ کریں، بیرونی طاقتوں کے مفادات کے لئے جنگیں نہ کریں۔آخر ہم کب تک غیروں کے مفادات کی لڑائی لڑتے رہیں گے اوراپنانقصان کرتے رہیں گے؟ خداکے لئے یورپ سے سبق حاصل کریں جنہوں نے برسوں تک جنگیں کیں، جن میں لاکھوں لوگ مارے گئے، بالآخر انہوں نے جنگیں ختم کیں، امن کے راستے پرچلے اور ایک دوسرے سے جنگ وجدل کے بجائے آپس میں بہترتعلقات قائم کئے۔ آپ بھی افغانستان سے جنگ وجدل کے بجائے بات چیت کرکے معاملات کوطے کریں اور بہتر تعلقات قائم کریں۔  ایک طرف تو افغان باشندوں کوپاکستان کے قبائلی علاقوں سے نکالاجارہاہے اور انہیں ٹرکوں میں بھربھر کے افغانستان واپس بھیجا جارہا ہے، انہیں وہاں رہنے تک کی اجازت نہیں ہے لیکن دوسری طرف وہ افغان باشندے جو کراچی میں بڑے بڑے کاروبار کررہے ہیں، جن کے عالیشان کاروبارہیں انہیں نہ صرف کراچی میں رہنے سہنے کی آزادی ہے بلکہ ہرطرح کاکاروبارکرنے کی کھلی اجازت ہے، میں حکومت اورفوج کے حکام کودعوت دیتاہوں کہ وہ خود کراچی کادورہ کرکے دیکھ لیں کہ وہاں بڑے بڑے کاروبار کون کررہاہے۔ یا توافغان باشندوں کوافغان جنگ ختم ہونے کے بعد ہی ان کے ملک واپس بھیج دیاجاتا لیکن اب جبکہ انہیں یہاں رہتے ہوئے 40سال ہوگئے ہیں توانہیں واپس بھیجاجارہا ہے۔  میں یہی سمجھتاہوں کہ افغانستان ہمارا پڑوسی ملک ہے اس سے جنگ کسی بھی طرح درست نہیں لہٰذا میں پاکستان اور پاکستان سے باہررہنے وا لوں سے کہتاہوں کہ وہ افغانستان پر حملوں کے خلاف آواز اٹھائیں۔اس وقت پاکستان کوامن و استحکام اوریکجہتی کی ضرورت ہے۔ الطاف حسین  ٹک ٹاک پر 389 ویں فکری نشست سے خطاب 16 مارچ 2026ء

Afghanistan is our neighboring Islamic country. Attacks on Afghanistan by Pakistan are deeply concerning and beyond understanding. It is no secret that some time ago, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with former U.S. President Donald Trump, during which Trump stated that he wanted Afghanistan’s Bagram Airbase. Since then, a series of conflicts with Afghanistan has begun, and attacks are being carried out inside Afghanistan from Pakistan. There has never been a war between #Afghanistan and #Pakistan. When Afghans started fighting against the Soviet Union’s presence in Afghanistan in 1979, it was not Pakistan’s war. However, for the interests of external powers, this conflict was labeled as “jihad,” and its center was shifted from Afghanistan to Pakistan. Afghan fighters were trained, armed, and supported against the Soviet Union. Pakistan’s tribal areas were selected for this purpose. Religious seminaries promoting jihad were established across Pakistan. Religious scholars issued fatwas encouraging participation in the Afghan jihad. Camps were set up across the country by religious groups, inviting people to join the fight in Afghanistan. Volunteers were registered, trained, and sent to fight against the Soviet Union. Large amounts of dollars were provided for this purpose. Although it was not Pakistan’s war, the country was pushed into it for the interests of foreign powers and turned into a base for that conflict. Today, once again, Pakistan is being used as a base for wars serving foreign interests, and attacks are being carried out on Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s media is broadcasting sensational breaking news on the matter. I appeal to Pakistan’s rulers: even the United States and Western powers fought in Afghanistan for many years but ultimately had to withdraw. Now Pakistan is engaging in conflict with Afghanistan. I urge the leadership not to wage war against a neighboring Islamic country, not to carry out attacks, and not to fight wars for the interests of foreign powers. How long will we continue fighting others’ battles and harming ourselves? For God’s sake, learn from Europe. After years of devastating wars that killed millions, European nations eventually chose peace, ended conflicts, and built better relationships with one another instead of fighting. You should also resolve issues with Afghanistan through dialogue rather than conflict and establish better relations. On one hand, Afghan residents are being expelled from Pakistan’s tribal areas and sent back to Afghanistan in trucks, not even being allowed to stay. On the other hand, Afghan nationals running large businesses in Karachi are allowed to live freely and conduct business without restriction. I invite government and military officials to visit Karachi themselves and see who is running major businesses there. If Afghan nationals were to be sent back, it should have been done after the Afghan war ended. But now, after they have lived here for 40 years, they are being deported. I believe that Afghanistan is our neighboring country, and war with it is not justified under any circumstances. Therefore, I urge people in Pakistan and abroad to raise their voices against attacks on Afghanistan.
