He ended up joining a street gang and even spent 1.5 years in prison for robbery. None of that stopped him from becoming a good man. From the age of 19, he took care of children with disabilities, and later became a fighter. Cub built a legendary career in the world’s top promotion and became a caring father of three. You won’t see him in clubs or in crime reports. Yes, he never became a champion, his highest achievement was reaching #2 in the rankings. But he entertained fans more than many champions ever did. Happy retirement, Cub Swanson!
