My path is something like 80-20 or 90-10. AI does the work but it always needs a Human In The Loop and I am effectively the product manager, ceo, qA etc. Also, documentation and planning takes about 30% of my project time but it's deadly effective to plan it properly. Works wonders.

You still have to know what you’re doing and be able to verify when AI gets stuck or it breaks. Physical Automation still needs a mechanic for when the machine breaks down. I had to override an Admin TS file manually when Manus got stuck on a loop for 40 minutes. If I didn’t know what I was doing I wouldn’t have been able to do a manual override and help it move on. You have to know more than enough to be dangerous. Even in an AI WORLD.

Novel idea… a news site that cover technology and business, absent of political ideology and doesn’t even subtly try to shove politics in your face or make the claim “everything is politics”… Framed with an openly stated bias toward positivity and tech optimism. You can just show up and be excited about cool and interesting gadgets and the latest innovation. No moralizing, no doomerism. I think it would be an overwhelming success. But it would take a visionary leader who doesn’t tolerate one scrap of bullsh** And is completely financially independent and immune to cancel culture and being bullied or coopted. Willing to be unapologetic and not be held hostage by staffers, and makes the mission the mandate and bans all politics in the workplace. That’s the only way it could work, I think it would be rare to find that kind of person that is also a charismatic leader that people want to follow into the jaws of hell and out the other side. And the type of creative staffer that wants that environment? And desperately just wants to focus on writing and making videos about cool stuff with unapologetic childlike enthusiasm? That’s hard to find in a world of bitter and broken people. I think whoever does this will capture lightning in a bottle… pure magic… And will be able to laugh with their crew all the way to the bank. 🏦
