The story is one of its weakest parts, especially in the writing department. Extremely disconnected Acts that seem to function more like banner ads, and entire subplots, casts etc. that are abandoned to chase a new plotline from patch to patch.

Guys, just try Wuthering Waves. You can 100% ignore the gacha and just enjoy it like a TV show or an anime. Characters are made available for story quests so there's nothing stopping you. Just a willingness to try and a leap of faith; you'll see why we adore this game so much.
