If you're uncommitted and you're taking the fall off to attend camps and showcases. You're going to be disappointed and you got bad advice. The players that play actual games get the attention. If you're taking the fall or summer off to train (whatever that means), you need to learn to prioritize and budget your time. Zoo lions train. Wild lions train, play and attend camps and showcases.

High school dudes, This summer, don’t roll up to the park in slides or Birkenstock’s. Get you some turf shoes to wear before you put your spikes on. Slides and stocks are a bad look. Walking in to a ballpark with scouts there is a job interview. Look the part!

While everyone is having conversations around sportsmanship because of the D1 regionals, let’s talk about cleaning it up at the HS level. I’ve sat in the stands enough recently at HS and travel games and seen bush league stuff both from the dugout and the stands.

Roughly 1,500 players have been added to the portal in the last 24 hours. 4,500 total. Be where you are wanted and where someone will invest you. As one of my colleagues said recently “if you have a locker, be happy, because some won’t have that soon”
